Hot Cross Buns, Hot Cross Buns!

 At first the yeast is asleep and when you add warm water and sugar the yeast wakes up and starts to eat the sugar and make gas. We are pretending to be yeast eating the sugar and making gas.

After the dough went into the bread maker we rolled our dough. Some of us put raisins and a cross on our buns. 

Then we put them in the warming draw to help the yeast rise and then they went into the oven to cook.
The smell was delicious mmmmm!

Small Ball Skills in Room 7 & 8

We are learning  small ball skills with all different types of balls. Some are spiky, and some have holes in them.
